Terms of Service

Eligibility

Users must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Pole reserves the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Rider Responsibilities

Riders must treat drivers and vehicles with respect, not engage in illegal activities, follow traffic laws, and report safety concerns immediately. No smoking, drugs, or hazardous materials in vehicles.

Driver Responsibilities

Drivers must maintain valid licenses and insurance, keep vehicles clean and safe, provide professional service, and follow traffic laws. Drivers agree to background verification and may be deactivated for policy violations.

Carrier Responsibilities

Carriers must securely transport packages, not open deliveries, handle items carefully, and deliver on time. Pole Send covers items up to ₦500,000 per package.

Subscription & Billing

Driver subscription: ₦5,000/month. Carrier subscription: ₦3,000/month. Prices subject to change with 30 days notice. Billing is automatic on subscription date. Cancel anytime in app settings.

Payments & Refunds

Pole accepts cards, wallet, and cash. Refunds for cancelled rides are processed within 5-7 business days. Drivers receive 100% of fares minus monthly subscription. Weekly payouts every Monday.

Prohibited Activities

No harassment, discrimination, fraud, fake reviews, reselling, or commercial use of the platform. Violators will be permanently banned. Pole may cooperate with law enforcement.

Intellectual Property

All Pole logos, content, and technology are proprietary. Users have limited license to use the app for personal non-commercial purposes only.

Limitation of Liability

Pole is provided as-is. We limit liability to the amount paid in the last 30 days. We are not liable for indirect damages or third-party actions. This does not exclude liability for gross negligence or fraud.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by Nigerian law. Disputes are resolved in Lagos courts or through arbitration as specified in disputes resolution procedures.
